Description
Rocky Hollow Nature Preserve in Turkey Run State Park is like no other part of Indiana. Deep cuts in the soft sandstone have eroded over time to make some amazing hiking trails. Western Indiana is mostly flat until you get to this part of the state. There the topography becomes hilly with many creeks and rivers. Shown here is one of the rock formations called "Wedge Rock".

Although the creek s has slowed, these dramatic rock slabs and boulders make quite an impressive scene!
