Morning sun shines on a beautiful waterfront home at Good Harbor Beach, in Gloucester, Massachusetts. This is one of the best beaches north of Boston, it was a favorite place to hang out back in the day.

The Sherman Cottage! Living in Gloucester, I've painted it many times and it is as much Gloucester's "motif #1" as the red fishing shack is Rockport's "motif #1". I thought the asking price was $4.5 million, but why quibble about millions with that view! Great capture! Voted in the "Places From My Childhood" contest.

Eileen, thanks very much. Cape Ann is my favorite place. I used to live in Beverly, and spent many fun hours in my kayak all over Cape Ann. Farnham's in Essex is my favorite place for clams. You do great work.
