Artist Pamela Bliss has done an amazing job depicting early Mellencamp and a more current image on the left of this amazing mural. Mellencamp's music really embodies the times and the places where he grew up (and still resides) around Seymour, Indiana.
Mellencamp was able to watch the work in progress on this amazing piece of art, he even signed the guitar.
